We hope all went well...

We have spent a lot of time trying to make the installation of myUSBdrive as simple as possible.  Once the image is unzipped to the SD card, plug it in to the Raspberry Pi and turn it on.  If you have a monitor connected, you will see the installation progress, and after a few minutes the Raspberry Pi will reboot and it should be ready.

Plug in any existing external USB drive and after a few seconds you should be able to see it on your home network.  You don't even have to boot the Raspberry Pi with the drive already plugged in.  The Raspberry Pi will wait until a drive is connected, then share it on your home network.

If all does not go to plan, please let us know using the form on this page.  We will respond to you as soon as possible.
